bright

Journal Entry: Thu Sep 28, 2006, 7:23 PM
Wow. Been a long time since I even touched a computer. But here I am. My world has changed. Have written one poem in a whole entire year, so my creative 'well' has gone dry. Things happen. People change.

Am I happy? Yes. That's mostly because of a wonderful man...my husband now. Am I sad? Yes, but now the pain is dulling..still cuts like a knife, though. I have his love, so I am lucky no matter what happens....

I have to count my blessings in the daytime and lick my wounds at night. All in all the future looks bright, and one day I will write again.

Ah, so you've noticed I've been away for awhile. (Thanks). Um, yah I have moved. I have no power, no utilities. This was an unforseen setback, so I could not warn anyone that 2-3 weeks might be 2-3 monthes.... ^^;
In any case I have been so mind numbingly busy that I have not had any time to write. I know, I know...terrible.
I am at my parents house getting some R&R for the weekend and thoroughly enjoying civilization. Alas, I must return to my Amish paradise and maintain my online silence for a while longer yet. I trust you have been busy while I have been away-I have 600 and some deviations to go through-it's gonna be a loooong night. Hopefully should have power soon-I'm just waiting for Epcor to come out and auger the holes for the poles to go in and then I will return with a vengence to civilization and give your work the undivided attention it wholly deserves. Until then.......*sigh*

Sorry to interupt you to aguing over whether your good or not.

But I jumped over to your page Rjan and your poetry is really good.

You weave in metaphores really well and you structure is almost perfect and your subject matter is so different and interesting.

So in my opinion I think you an excellent poet ^^

Death no longer terrifies man, the smell of blood is as common as the smell of white plums, so he creates slavery and savagery, which surpass the horror of dying, these can only be fought with more blood shed and the cycle never ends

Alright, that's it! *Spanks Rjan* Insulted by who? Everybody has critics-the point of the matter is that we are all are own worst critics. Don't let it phase you. Your stronger than that!!! You should come to realize your own self worth and celebrate your strengths and accept your weaknesses. Poetry and writing are one of your strengths, you know. Being able to tell the story because other people can't/won't is a beautiful thing.

Oh shutup. Your poetry is brilliant, it's a reflection of your mind and the person you are and have been. It's an important extension of yourself-you shouldn't treat it so callously.
